Success
The La Maestra microcredit program currently has over 300 women with active loans. These loans serve as a springboard for starting or expanding the participants’ micro businesses while increasing their income revenues to provide for their families. Each family has an average of 2.5 children in their home. Thus the program impacts a much larger number of people in the community.
